Bridget Kachur is a self-confessed grease monkey. She found her calling as a child, when she tinkered with, repaired, and rebuilt car engines alongside her father, a backyard mechanic. Now, with many more years of experience tucked under her belt, she teaches automotive courses for women, writes regular newspaper features on car-related topics, and has fixed more cars than she can remember. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
